After a few months of focusing extensively on my master thesis, I (Cyann) am now done with it and could eventually find some time to do the migration counting one last time before leaving Gedser ! It was a great pleasure to go back to the point, enjoy the sunrise and the good company.

I have been told that many ducks were migrating lately, but today seemed not to be their day. Instead, we got impressive numbers of swallows (Svale) and of wagtails (Vipstjert), both over a thousand ! It was also a lovely day for raptors, with some beautiful harriers (Rørhøg & Blå kærhøg) of different age and sex.
